Welcome To Our Majestic Dance Night Web Site!

Last year saw the tenth annual Majestic Dance Night on 10th October 2009.

Our Dance Night reflects the Dance Hall days of the 1940’s to the 1970’s, whilst raising funds for the local Prospect Hospice, which last year was £7,000

The first event, in 2000, was intended as a one-off reunion of the ‘Majestic Ballroom’ in Swindon and was so successful, both in the response from a capacity crowd and the resultant donation to the Hospice, that it has been repeated annually ever since.

With the 2009 addition the total donation to the Prospect Hospice reached over £65,500. Our next event on Saturday 16th October 2010 will be our eleventh year of the series!

The financial result depends entirely upon the income received from tickets sales (entrance and raffle), cash sponsorships, prize donations and the minimising of costs for all of the support services involved.
