The Smiley Mac Showband had the following band members:

• Adrian Mathews (over 30 yrs, Keyboard)
• John Griffin (20 yrs, Drums)
• Morley McPartland (over 30 yrs, Vocals)
• Roy Bazley (25 yrs, Bass)
• Terry Froud (over 30 yrs, Guitar)

The Band was tremendously popular on the the private function circuit for more than 30 years!

Although the Band often featured a horn section using session musicians brought in for a particular function, the only regular Swindon-based musician was Phil Clements (Trombone).

In the last two years of his life Gordon Talbot played piano with Smiley Mac. Sheila Harrod and The Kentwood Choir, with Smiley Mac played a memorial concert for Gordon at The Wyvern Theatre with all proceeds donated to the Prospect Hospice.
