The photo above shows Norman Hall, winner of the 'Carroll Levis Radio Discovery Show', shaking hands with Cyril Levis (brother of Carroll). Gerald New (left hand front) came in joint second place with the New Era Swingtet.

Carroll Levis was a talent scout, impresario, TV and radio personaliity (Born 1910, Canada; Died 1968, England).

The New Era Swingtet had the following band members:
