• Justin Hayward (Lead Vocals/Lead Guitar, upto February 1965)
• Kim Ayres (Lead Vocals, replaced Dave King after first Germany tour)
• Kim Sims (Lead Vocals, for first Germany tour only)
• Mike Greenland (Guitar/Vocals)
• Nigel Norman (Keyboard/Bass/Vocals, from April 1965)
• Robin Habgood (from 1966 on)

Formerly The Whispers prior to November 1964

The band was managed by Don Hedges until when Justin Hayward left the group (February 1965). Nigel Norman then took over management and was succeeded by Noel Mobey.
